James Republic was in the restaurant portfolio which opened on May 8th, 2013, but closed post Covid due to business levels in Long Beach with the long closures that happened in California. The namesake of creator, Dean James Max, has a direct focus on local approach and is his west coast workshop on farm to table. The modern California coastal cuisine had the best of an area treasured for its ingredients and food ingenuity. The new restaurant was a casual yet upscale eatery that treasures the best of California living both in style, food and beverage. The open air feel made relaxing at James Republic, a true escaping experience.
